Last house being finished off after a very wet morning

Another successful Cambodian house build

You will be pleased to know 144 Cambodian villagers including 88 children are sleeping warm and dry as a result of our recent house building trip with the Tabitha Foundation. 28 families qualified for their home through their savings in the Tabitha Savings program and support from each team member. Due to the size of the team, we split in two and went in different directions. Our team, the A Team spent one and a half days on the build about 1.5 housrs drive from Phnom Penh. We built 13 houses, one for each participant.

The group and families after the build

Lunch break - ladies first

The families were very excited at handover on the second day and couldn't wait to wave goodbye so they could move into their new homes.A big thank you to our wonderful Rotary Club for both contributing financially to our fundraising for our houses plus members enthusiasm in sending us on our way.Looking forward to next year. How many families can we help?
