Melanie honoured by her village in Kenya Melanie Peyian, the RCWE sponsored student, was recently honoured by her village in Kenya. Melanie is the first person in Kimuka to graduate from university and become a doctor. Melanie expressed her gratitude to RCWE for making this possible and is determined to help her village in the future. , ' Motorplex collection April 2023 The Rotary Club of Western Endeavour collected $1177.66 at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday 01 April 2023. Most of the generous crowd paid in cash but an increasing number now make electonic transfers. With assistance from Perth Motorplex, Rotary has collected a total of more than $220,000 for cancer research and the WA Kirkbride Melanoma Advisory Service. June Wade, the Shelter Box area representative in Western Australia made a presentation to the club on the use of Shelter Box facilities in places of disaster. This project is supported by 46,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas. Shelterbox is currently most active in Turkey, Syria and Ukraine.
