The major fundraiser for our Rotary Club projects is the High Tea for Humanity, being held on Sunday afternoon the 15th October 2017. This is the second year for the High Tea where funds are raised for mental health research, aboriginal projects and rural medical and rural nursing scholarships. The inaugural High Tea held in 2016 was well supported with about 150 people attending. Everybody who attended last year said they would be back for this year's High Tea because of the great time they had last year.
Our Club Member and Fund Raising Director, Jane O'Leary, has organised the Event again this year and has put in a huge effort to make this a success. I really appreciate the effort of Jane and our other Rotary Club of Western Endeavour Members that have been working hard to make it a success again this year.
There are couple of raffles associated with the day with one raffle having the prize of the 2008 Grange Hermitage which has been rated as the best Grange ever with scores of either 98,99 and even 100 from different wine judges - a truly valuable prize.
The High Tea has many sponsors including the Royal Australian Air Force Association (RAAFA) of Western Australia who are allowing us to use their facility at Bull Creek for free as well as staff to help with the food preparation and serving.
Please come along and enjoy a wonderful afternoon with food, entertainment, raffles, silent auction, games and of course a lot of fun.
See you at the High Tea for Humanity!

President
